UTM & OPU 2017 (Summer School) Part 1

Hye, Assalamualaikum.

Konnichiwa!

Eh tetiba nak berbahasa Jepun pulak en. Haha takde, ni saja saja praktikkan balik sebab awal semester haritu, Wawa join program summer school dengan Japanese students from Osaka Prefecture University. So, dah alang alang jumpa dengan diorang Wawa pun terus lah belajar sesikit bahasa Jepun.

Program ni was held around 2 weeks. And memang banyak sangat activities sampai Wawa sendiri pun penat gila baqhang. No weekends for two weeks. But I really enjoyed the 2 weeks experience with them. Sangat sangat banyak benda baru. Plus I have to speak English dengan diorang. Lagi lah dapat improve my English. Anyway, Japanese takdelah terror sangat berbahasa English. Diorang pun tau basic je. Therefore, kalau ada Malaysian yang salah dalam penggunaan Bahasa Inggeris tu no need lah kecam. Okay?

So, program ni started bulan Febuary haritu. 13th of Feb 2017. Yeaa, of course we need to welcome the students from OPU. Therefore, ada lah like a small party, where we need to greet them, and meet out partners. Ouh lupa nak bagi tahu actually program ni every buddies(UTM students) will get a partner. Like a friend which we need to help in all sorts of things. Bawak dia jenjalan kat sini. bawak dia pergi makan, in case if dia nak tukar duit kita kena tolong. So, Wawa dipairkan dengan YUZUKI YAMAMURA. An average Japanese girl with adorable look. So, she's so nice and warm hearted. I was so pleased to meet her and being her partner. Awal awal tu macam malu malu tanya pun simple simple je. Since Japanese are not really well in English, yes we encountered communications problems at first but manage to handle it through out the program. Tak boleh nak guna bombastic words sangat dengan diorang sebab diorang tak faham pun. But still my English improves. I could see that I manage to arrange every ideas in sentences without 'aaa' 'err' and so on. Fluent lah sikit instead of before ni gagap sana gagap sini. :p

And starting from our first meet, setiap hari Wawa kena bawak dia pergi dinner. The first day tu, Wawa bawak dia pergi night market. She was truly excited tengok keadaan kat pasar malam tu. Where there are lots of things, foods, drinks and so on. So, after wandering around, she decided to buy keropok lekor, apam balik and  the ultimate durian juice. Lol, even me myself pun tak makan durian. But I love tempoyak. :p

Next, for the second day tu, we went to restoran Syed Alwi(Mamak) since she really wanted to experience Malaysian style. I introduced her Indian, Chinese and of course Malay cuisine. I told her although hidup berbilang bangsa and agama. But still we live in harmony. And yes Roti Canai, Naan Cheese, Tandoori are all Indian food but Chinese and Malay can also taste them. So, she actually can experience Indian food w/o going to India and Chinese food w/o going to China. The benefits of coming to Malaysia.

Menu 1: Roti Canai & Teh Tarik

Manu 2: Naan Cheese+ Tandoori & Teh Tarik

I ordered these menus and ask her to give a try and she likes it. But she complained that the curry was little bit spicy. Hahaha, very unlucky.

The second day, I brought her to a nearby stall at Taman U. We were going to eat Nasi Lemak. Yeay! Because before ni pun masa dia tanya apa local food yang Wawa paling suka, straight away Wawa cakap Nasi Lemak. And diorang pun makan. Tapi Nasi Lemak w/o sambal. Tak umphh lah. Hahaha, diorang yang pelik tengok cara Malaysian makan. Yelah we Malaysian memang mix kan nasi dengan kuah. If not tak rasa apa lah. But they all memang tak makan pedas so, pepaham je lah. And she gave thumbs up for the Nasi Lemak. Ouh yes, one more time minum teh tarik. Yuzuki ni macam dah addicted sangat dengan teh tarik. Hahaha.

And now I forgot dah hari keberapa but we got Malaysian Culture Sharing Session. So you could see down there in the pictures how it went. Yes, kitorang bagi diorang try pakai baju baju tradisional bangsa Melayu which is Baju Melayu and also Baju Kurung with scaf as well. Wah sekali pandang ada nampak macam orang Melayu tak? Hehe. Oh, Wawa jaga station yang ada traditional games. Contoh ada gasing, batu seremban, guli, congkak and so on. Nasib baik sis master main congkak and batu seremban tu kalau tak, buat malu je. overa;; they seems to enjoy the session. Mana tak enjoy kan sampai kena menari our traditional dance semua. Anyway, i did menari a bit though i dont really know how. Belasah je lah labu. Salah steps ke apa belakang kira la bukan diorang tahu pun.

So, i will tell you more about them in Part 2. stay tuned.
